Aotearoa New Zealand Social Workers’ Day is held on the third Wednesday of September each year. This year it is on 18 September 2024.

Aotearoa New Zealand Social Workers’ Day is a fantastic day to celebrate and highlight the incredible mahi social workers do throughout the rohe. So please join us for this free kanohi ki te kanohi event to celebrate social workers, and those doing social work, in our community.

We will provide a light breakfast while we enjoy some connection with like-minded people providing social work service to our community. Enjoy the opportunity to connect, share and inspire each other on this day of celebration and acknowledgement.
