Our Book Club is a space for connection with others. Yes, we would love you to read our recommended book, but if you just want to come for a coffee, you use the time and space however you want!
Our Book Club is a free event targeted at professionals in the health and social sector, but open to anyone the book club resonates with.
If you are interested in the content of the book, but aren’t much of a reader, that is no issue! We have cheat sheets and book reviews all made up everyone’s’ use!
What we’ve already read
If you’re interested to explore the books we have already discussed then please either check out our blog posts or podcasts that have discussed those books. We like to explore a range of authors and topics (and are always open to suggestions!), and we love how the conversation often continues long after the book club is over! Here are some of the books we’ve discussed previously:
- Toxic at Work by David Gillespie
- The Myth of Normal by Gabor Maté
- In The Realm of Hungry Ghosts by Gabor Maté
- The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown
- Dare to Lead by Brené Brown
- The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk
- What Happened to You by Oprah Winfrey and Dr Bruce Perry
